My daughter have been planning her wedding in Florida and also been looking forward to moving to a warmer climate. Her fiancé wants to move to Finland because he liked it here. He’s from Louisiana, currently living in Florida and has only seen snow a couple of times in his life, never as much as we have here though. We sent him this picture to make him change his mind, but it didn’t help, the wedding is going to be in Finland and he’s going to move here in May. He played American football here last summer and is going to do it again this year while he learns the language and tries to get a job for the winter too. Seems we are going to be an American/Swedish-Finnish family soon… I’m looking forward to that!
Welcome back! Nice to see you again, hope you enjoy your visit.

It certainly looks gorgeous, but right now I’m sitting here (Toronto, Canada) freezing. If I had the chance to move south… I think that I would jump at the chance. If they could only come up with snow that wasn’t cold. Can’t beat it as long as you don’t have to go out into it.

Can’t imagine what the winter’s are like in Finland, but I know I am getting pretty tired of them here in Chicago. The wife and I are hoping to be permanent Las Vegas dwellers someday soon!

A Floridian in Finland. He’ll never last!
I made it in Belgium for 10 and it took all I could do not to freeze to death.
I wish them lots of luck …and warmth! –wink–

Brrrrr, good thing they’ll be newlyweds and willing to cuddle to stay warm.

Todays love quote matches your comments so well
“Love keeps the cold out better than a cloak.”
