Sometimes life is all about luck and good timing.
I was out walking the dog early this morning and found a wallet. The wallet looked worn out, had some money in it, a Lithuanian ATM card and a drivers license in a language I couldn’t understand. The lost & found office is closed on a weekend and I started to feel sorry for the guy who had to spend a weekend in a foreign country without money and ATM card. The only thing I could think of to do was to call the police and tell them I had found a wallet. There was no one on the police station either, but the officer told me he would send someone over to pick up the wallet if there were someone available.
A couple of hours later a policeman called me and told me they were nearby and could come and pick up the wallet. I told them I would meet them in front of my house. While I stood there waiting for the police I could see a couple of guys walking around the park as if they were looking for something. When the police arrived I handed the wallet over to them and told them about the guys in the park. They went over to the park and found the guy that had lost his wallet. He looked really happy about getting it back.
Sometimes things turn out all right all by them selves. Sometimes we find what we look for, even though it isn’t where we think it is…
