It’s quite a while since I’ve updated this blog, but
suddenly this weekend summer arrived and you know how it is when the sun
starts shining through dirty winter windows… you just have to dust them off
and let the sun in. I got that feeling today when I visited my blog and noticed
I haven’t updated since October.
Where does the time go when it passes by? Is it hiding in
the closet? Can I find it in the shadows under the trees in the wood where I
walk the dogs? Can I find the time amongst all the exams I need to grade, or all
the books I need to read? Time isn’t given to us anymore, we have to take it. No
one reaches out their hand and says:”Hey, I’ve got a handful of time for you,
take it and enjoy it!” Instead we have to take time off when we become
overwhelmed.
I read a poem today that said:
” Come too far to turn back
Gone not far enough to see where I’m going”
The wisdom of life is in those words; every day that passes
by takes us too far to turn back, but yet we are never far enough to see where
we’re going. At her 90’th birthday my grandmother said:”I just blinked and my
life was gone, yet I’m tired and need some rest… there’s been so much in only
one blink.”
So, my friend, take the time and value it, it’s only one
blink and you’ve always come too far to turn back…
Welcome back! Nice to see you again, hope you enjoy your visit.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
The most precious time is the time to love. For in such a time, we take life to another level in space.
God bless.

How true those words are. I feel it everyday. Sometimes I just want to yell “slow down, I’m not getting any younger” but no one listens.
