This is just a quick post to tell you that I’m leaving for Florida in a couple of hours. I’ve packed everything else except the computer. I should try to sleep, but I’m not able to. Having to get up early in the morning has never really been my thing.
Next time I blog I’m in Florida and hopefully I will have some new photos soon.
4:45 am
It’s 4:45 in the morning and we will be leaving for the airport in an hour. It’s been light outside already for almost an hour and I can see the sun rising. This night is actually the shortest night of the year. These short summer nights are something we scandinavians look forward to during winter. When it’s dark when you leave for worka and dark when you get home, all you really can do is dream of light summer nights.

Isn’t it funny yet impressive how we are dealing with that sunlight? You, scandinavians are looking forward for short summer nights while middle easterns are suffring from the long sunny summer days and hot nights
It’s amazing for me yet I think we’re adapting ourselves to so, and it’s part of our cultural context/background somehow.
