I stumbled upon a blog that isn’t updated anymore, but well worth reading. The blog is called 1000 LIFE LESSONS or HOW TO STAY ALIVE FOREVER. I have started reading the lessons from the last to the first, since that’s the way a blog is built. So far I’ve come to life lesson #998. The lesson says:

If your heart says change, then change.

It won’t be easy.

A lot of truth in a couple of words.

The Internet is a wondeful way of meeting new people, but it is also a limited way to get to know someone. All we have to go after is the written word. When we blog we write, when we chat we write and when we email each other we write. To be able to get to know someone better you have to be comfortable writing. You have to be able to find a language both are comfortable writing in, you have to be used to express yourself in writing, and you have to be willing to write long enough messages so that the person who recieves your messages knows what you mean.

Is the Internet a place where only people who likes to write, and are comfortable expressing themselves in writing, are able to form friendships? What about the rest of the world? What about those who prefer to interact by talking? Do they only form friendships with people they can meet in real life?
